HELEN CATHERINE MORGAN 88, of Paris, died at 1:15 AM, Thursday, July 24, 2008 at Legend Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center. A graveside service will be held at 11:00 AM, Saturday, July 26, 2008 at Restland Cemetery in Roxton with Rev. Randall Scott officiating. The family will receive friends from 6:00-7:00 PM Friday evening at the funeral home. Fry-Gibbs Funeral Home has charge of the arrangements.
Mrs. Morgan was born December 12, 1919 in Roxton to George R. and Lillie R. Johnson Gentry. She graduated from Roxton High School and married James Creed Morgan on March 9, 1940 in Paris. He died October 15, 1957. Mrs. Morgan was a manager in the food service division of the Garland ISD for many years. She was a member of the Immanuel Baptist Church.
Mrs. Morgan is survived by two brothers, Billy R. Gentry and Randell W. Gentry and wife, Martha of Paris; one sister, Melonese Bonner of the Sylvan Community; and twelve nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, George Gentry, Jr. and J.D. Gentry; and two sisters, Edna Branum and Frances Gower.
Honorary pallbearers will be Mrs. Morgan’s nephews.

Charles Edward (Charlie) Ray

CHARLES EDWARD “Charlie” RAY 72, of Paris, died at 12:20 AM, Thursday, July 24, 2008 at his home with family by his side. A graveside service is set for 3:00 PM, Saturday, July 26, 2008 at the Antioch Cemetery with Bro. Ronald Barnett and Bro. Brandon Teague officiating. The family will receive friends from 1:00-2:00 PM, Saturday afternoon prior to the service at the funeral home. Fry-Gibbs Funeral Home has charge of the arrangements.
Mr. Ray was born August 11, 1935 in Biardstown to Fred Chris and Lora Mae Ingram Ray. He married Florence Ellen Hayles on September 22, 1961 in Paris. Mr. Ray was a heavy equipment operator in the Lamar County area for many years and retired as a machinist with Southwestern Foundry Corp. He was of the Baptist faith.
Mr. Ray is survived by his wife Florence Ray of Paris; one daughter, Sammie Sims of Fort Worth; and four grandchildren, Mathew, Tiara, Raven, and Angelina Sims. He was looking forward to the arrival of his first great-granddaughter, Jordan Nicole Sims. Mr. Ray is also survived by a brother, Jim Ray and wife, Exie of Paris; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Harold and Fred Ray; and two sisters, Allie Mae Ingram and Margaret Endsley.
Honorary pallbearers will be Bubba Ray, Wayne Ray, Robert Relford, Mike Ray, Tim Ray, and Phillip Miller.

Patricia Ann Hancock Holmes, 68, of Paris passed away Tuesday July 22, 2008 at Paris Healthcare Center. Fry-Gibbs Funeral Home will conduct graveside services at 10:00 a.m. Saturday July 26, 2008 at Hickory Grove Cemetery with Rev. Bill Dickey officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Friday 7-8 p.m.
She was born in Petty, Texas a daughter of Wade and Frances Manuel Hancock. She was a LVN having worked at both hospitals in Paris and several nursing homes. She was a member of Petty Baptist Church.
Survivors include children, Ronnie Morgan and wife, Teresa, Tommy Sue Daniels and husband, Danny, and Wayne Morgan and wife, Barbara; her mother, Frances Hancock; 18 Grandchildren, 32 Great Grandchildren and 8 Great-Great Grandchildren; a brother, Danny E. Hancock and wife, Kay and numerous nieces, nephews and a host of friends. She was preceded in death by her Father and a sister, Carolyn Drake.
Pallbearers will be Paul Drake, Brad Drake, Kenny Hancock, Daniel Hancock, Matthew Morgan and Lucas Morgan.
If desired, memorials may be made to the Carolyn Drake Endowment Scholarship Fund for the North Lamar Education Foundation.

Carolyn Louise Dowd “Nanny” Golightly 64 of Forrest Chapel went to be with the Lord on Sunday July 20, 2008 at E.T.M.C. in Clarksville. She was born October 18, 1943 in Lamar County the daughter of Harvey Bee & Louise Viter “Franks” Dowd. She grew up in the Paris area being a waitress most of her life. She was a hardworking woman with a strong willpower. She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother.
Funeral services are scheduled for 10:00 A.M. Wednesday July 23, 2008 in the Fry-Gibbs Funeral Chapel with Rev. Mishayla Brewer and Rev. Mickey Kelley officiating. Burial will follow in the Chicota Presbyterian Cemetery. Family will receive friends from 6 till 8 P.M. Tuesday evening at the funeral home.
She was preceded in death by her parents, a son Eddie Joe Wilkerson, her sister Dorothy Ausmus and stepsons Coye Heath & Thomas Golightly.
She is survived by her husband J.H. Junior Golightly; daughter Lisa Brown and husband Ronald; step-daughters Anna Jones and Pam “PK” Harris; stepson Doug Miller; daughter-in-law Donna Jo Babb and husband Jackie; Grandsons Eddie Pryor and wife Angie, Coy Nathan Pryor, Rusty Brown and wife Sarah, Colton, Heston, & Hayden Golightly, Brandon Whisenhunt and Jacob Jordan; granddaughters Tiana Reaves and husband Jared and Keely Wilkinson; great-granddaughters Natalee Wise, Hannah and Mallorie Brown; special niece Hollie Todd and husband Robert; nephews Harvey and Terry Miller; brothers and sisters-in-law Larry and Neda Golightly, Shug and Shirley Sessums, Earlene Cato, Shelia Golightly and Pat Reaves; numerous friends who will miss her dearly.

Col. Robert E. Lee Stell USAF Ret.
July 18, 2008
Col. Robert L. Stell USAF Ret. 92, of Waco, a Lamar County native passed away Friday July 18, 2008 in Waco.
Col. Stell was born on December 14, 1915 in Lamar County, Texas a son of James W. and Janie Hightower Stell. He was preceded in death by his wife Lois Oates Stell whom he married on January 1, 1942.
Col. Stell served in the United States Air Force for 22 years, veteran of World War II serving in the China, Burma, India Theatre (CBI). During his Air Force service and after retirement he worked for the United States Space Program in guided missile development. He was a part of the 7th Bomb (H) Historical Foundation and was inducted into the Paris Junior College Hall of Fame. Col. Stell was a member of the United Methodist Church.
Col Stell graduated from Paris Junior College, University of Texas, and earned a masters degree from Florida State University.
Surviving are his daughters Debbie Stell McAlister and husband Dane of Simi Valley, California, Jennifer Stell Frazier of Denver Colorado, and Susan Stell Smith of Waco; grandchildren Molly Gapol, Kelly McAlister, Nathan McAlister, Andrew Frazier, Bobby Smith, and Billy Smith; great granddaughter McKenna Gapol; sister Evelyn Stell Harris; brothers George (Buster) Stell and John Stell.
Funeral services will be conducted in the Fry-Gibbs Funeral Chapel Tuesday July 22, 2008 at 1:00 P.M. with Patrick Cannon officiating. Burial will follow at the Shady Grove Cemetery with full military honors provided by the United States Air Force Funeral Detail for Shepherd Air Force Base. In lieu of flowers if desired memorials maybe made to the American Cancer Society.

Kenneth Wade Hill, 78 of Paris, passed away Friday, July 18, 2008 at Dubuis Hospital in Paris.
Services have been scheduled for Tuesday, July 22, 2008 at 10:00 A.M. at Fry-Gibbs Funeral Home with Bro. Jerry Lawlis, Bro. Ivie Powell and Bro. Marvin Weir officiating. Interment will follow at Evergreen Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 7:00 P.M. on Monday at Fry-Gibbs Funeral Home.
He was born Bartlett, Texas to Herbert Wade and Vivian Jewel Gray Hill on March 22, 1930. He served in the United States Army and retired from Unisys Corp. as a Field Engineer. He married Barbara Ann Ivy on May 9, 1953 in Kemp, Texas. He was a member of the Bonham Street Church of Christ where he served as an elder.
He is survived by his wife; Barbara, children; Kenneth Wade Hill, Jr. of Dallas, Sharron Kay Keywood and husband Steve of Paris, grandchildren; Allen Wade Jones and wife Kelly of Mansfield, Russell Ben Jones of Paris and Robert Trent Jones of Houston, great-grandson; Ryan Henry Jones; brother-in-law; Ralph Ivy of Gunbarrel City, sister; Dorothy Day of Benbrook and numerous other relatives.
He was preceded in death by his parents; Herbert and Vivian Hill, brother; Donald Hill, in-laws; N.B. and Flora Ivy, brothers-in-law; Harold Ivy, Heather Ivy and James O. Day.

Retired SFC James Paul “JP” Preston, 74 of Direct, Texas passed away Wednesday, July 17, 2008 at Wilson and Jones Hospital in Sherman after a lengthy illness.
A service has been scheduled with full Military Honors at Pyles Cemetery on Wednesday, July 23, 2008 at 10:00 A.M. Arrangements are under the direction
of Fry-Gibbs Funeral Home.
James “JP” Preston was born on January 10, 1934 in Gould, Oklahoma to James Morgan
Moree of Seymour, Texas and Johny Mae Alexander of Gould, Oklahoma and was later
adopted by Dewey Preston of Paris, Texas.
He had an extensive military career serving both in the United States Navy and the
United States Army. He served in Italy, Germany, Vietnam and Korea. James
received various commendations; among them were Decorations for National
Defense as well as two Korean Service Metals. James retired a Korean War Veteran
as well as a Vietnam War Veteran. He shared a special relationship with his son-in-law,
CW4, Black Hawk Pilot; Tom McClellan of Ozarka, Alabama.
James was the beloved husband of 11 years to Karin Ingrid Tamschick-Preston of
Koenigsberg, West Germany and step father to Martina Anderson of Austin, Texas, Karin Ferguson of Paris, Texas, Patricia McClellan of Ozarka, Alabama, George Anderson of McKinney, Texas, Jane Joplin of Powderly, Texas and Cassandra Springer of Fairbanks, Alaska.
He was grandfather to Sean Paul Castrita, Amanda Kidd, Trent Tupin, Christian Springer, Cameron Springer, Jillian Anderson and Kaitlynn McClellan,
Ashley McClellan and Kaitlynn McClellan.
JP’s siblings include, James T. Preston of Paris, D.J. Preston of Paris, Leroy Preston of Paris, Mae Burkett of Irving, Mary Vaughn of Paris, John Preston of Paris, Ann Lamb
of Paris, Douglas Preston and Gloria Fitzpatrick of Paris.
The family will be gathering at the home of Jane Joplin in Powderly, Texas immediately following the services.

Michael Lee Bennett, 53, of Paris went to be with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, Sunday July 13, 2008. Fry-Gibbs Funeral Home will conduct graveside services 11:00 a.m. Wednesday July 16, at Highland cemetery in Deport with Rev. Dverle Archer and Rev. Demp Greer officiating.
He was born June 3, 1955 in Dallas, Texas a son of Clyde and Wanda Rollins Bennett. He married Donna Rosson December 15, 1977 in Hugo, Oklahoma. He was a truck driver and a member of Highway Full Gospel Church where he was a board member.
Survivors include his wife, Donna; children, Crystal Bennett, Luke Bennett and wife, Debbie; grandchildren, Tierani Bryan, Skyler Bryan and James Laster; a brother, Col. Rick Bennett and wife Sonnie; sisters, Sharon Barnes, Carla Fletcher and husband, Dan and several nieces and nephews.

Mrs. Horton was born January 28, 1916 in Detroit to Needham Alexander and Susie Phillips Whitley. She married Johnnie Martin Horton June 14, 1930 in Paris. He died December 28, 1989. She was a homemaker and member of the Holiness faith.
Mrs. Horton is survived by two sisters, Annie Nations of Paris and Betty Bryant of Earth, Texas; nine grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; infant twins, Billy Wayne and Willie Jane Horton; a son, Jimmy Horton; a daughter, Bonnie Donelson; three brothers; and one sister; and her step-mother who raised her, Dora Whitley.

Mrs. Cotton was born May 1, 1927 in Spencerville, Oklahoma to Thomas Richard and Callie Donaho Floyd. She graduated from Rattan High School. She was elected Lamar County Tax Assessor and Collector in 1984 retiring in 1989. She served as the church secretary for Mount Olive Baptist Church where she was a long-time member. Mrs. Cotton was also a member of the Ruth Sunday School Class at Mount Olive. Mrs. Cotton married Hal Cotton August 22, 1972 in Paris. He preceded her in death April 1, 1988.
Mrs. Cotton is survived by three children, Ronald Bates and wife, Peggy of Midlothian, Texas, Theresa Wimpee and husband, Rick of Rockwall, Texas, and Richard Bates and wife, Terri of Heath, Texas; six grandchildren, Jennifer Pitcock, Jim R. Bates, Cole Wimpee, Casey Wimpee, Katy Bates, and Kevin Bates; three step-grandchildren, Nick Wise, Frederick Wise, and Dustin Wise; five great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; three brothers, Bernice Floyd, Haskell Floyd, and Leo Floyd; and three sisters, Eula Bond, Lena Lloyd, and Trelma Rabon.
Serving as pallbearers will be Charles Shouse, Tiger Emerson, Mark Fendley, Glenn Williams, John Harwell, and Billy Risinger. Honorary pallbearers are Philip Risinger and John Preston.

J.C. McCann, 74 of Paris passed away July 12, 2008 in Paris Regional Medical Center.
Mr. McCann was born on December 30, 1933 in Gadston a son of John and Mellia Danner McCann. He was a member of Ben Franklin Community Church, served in the U.S. Air Force, and was a farmer. On April 19, 1958 he married Leona Spencer McCann in Paris, Texas.
Mr. McCann is survived by his wife Morinia Leona McCann; children Johnny McCann and wife Tina, Linnie Morvent and husband Gary, Leo McCann and wife Connie, Fay Harrell and husband Troy and Debbie McCann; 23 grandchildren, 40 great grandchildren; brothers Leo Reves, Wayne McCann, Taft McCann, P.A. Reves; sisters Pauline Sellers and Louise Case. He was preceded in death by children Ethel McCann and Jacky McCann, Sr..

RAY FULLER SISSEL, 86, of Paris, died Saturday, July 12, 2008 at his home. Graveside services are set for 11:00 AM Tuesday, July 15, 2008 at Evergreen Cemetery with Rev. Charles Dickson officiating. No visitation hour will be observed. Fry-Gibbs Funeral Home has charge of the arrangements.
He was born October 21, 1921 in Caviness to Hatton and Golda Cothran Sissel. He was a graduate of Paris High School. Sissel attended Paris Junior College where he was editor of the Bat, the student newspaper. He was Freshman editor of the Gallion later Sports editor. He also was named Junior Rotarian his sophomore year. Sissel graduated from East Texas State University where he served on the student newspaper and yearbook staff as well as president of Sigma Tau Delta, Campus Chapter for national English honor students. Following graduation, he joined the Paris News where he was a sports writer and later Managing Editor. At age 30, he was elected president of the 60 member Paris Kiwanis Club which at that time made him the youngest president in Kiwanis International. He was the last living charter member of the Paris Kiwanis Club. Paris Kiwanis Pancake Day was started during his tenure. In 1959 he joined Texas Power and Light Company in Dallas. After being named Director of Public Information, Sissel initiated the company’s employee information program. Well known as a master of ceremonies and after dinner speaker, he made more than 2,000 personal appearances in Texas, Arkansas, Oklahoma, and Louisiana. In Dallas, Sissel served on the United Way campign and was part of the initial fundraising committee to construct Presbyterian Hospital. He was elected president of the Downtown Dallas Founders’ Lions Club the same year that the 50th Anniversary Convention was held in Dallas. While living in Richardson, Sissel was elder at Richardson East Church of Christ. Until his retirement in 1986, Sissel held the position of Information Coordinator for Texas Utilities in the downtown Dallas office. After returning to Paris, he was a member of the Chamber of Commerce Visitors and Convention Committee and served as one of the “dirty half dozen” planners of the Love Civic Center. Sissel was a member of Paris Rotary Club where he was honored with the Paul Harris Award. He and his wife, Sarah were named in 1988 as Distinguished Graduates of Paris Junior College. He later served many years on the PJC Alumni and Friends Board. Sissel was a member of the Lamar Avenue Church of Christ.
He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Sarah Olivia Thompson Sissel; three daughters, Sandra Sissel and partner Kelly Drummond of Gainesville, Florida, Linda Decker and husband, John of Atlanta, Georgia, and Debra Hooper and husband Jonathan of Stephenville, Texas; five grandchildren, Melanie Hines and husband Bo of San Francisco, California, Zack Hooper and wife Emmy of Stephenville, Jack Decker of San Francisco, Caleb Hooper and wife Ashton of Stephenville, and Bernard Sissel and wife Karen of Santa Monica, California; one great-granddaughter, Maya Sissel of Santa Monica; one niece, Kay Langley and husband Jerry of Lubbock, Texas; two nephews, Mike O’Neal and wife Nancy of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, Foy O’Neal and wife Lois Ann of Claremore, Oklahoma; seven adopted daughters Ollie Dickson, Erica McGrew, Dorothy McGrew, Melvie Turner, Charmeon Ricks, Margret Patt, and Thelma Hughes, all of Paris.

PATRICK HENRY CLEBURN 65, of Arlington, Texas, died in Seattle, Washington Thursday, July 10, 2008. A funeral service is set for 2:00 PM, Thursday, July 17, 2008 in the chapel of Fry-Gibbs Funeral Home with Rev. Ken Cannon officiating. Mr. Cleburn was born June 12, 1943 in Liberty, Texas to Charles Allen and Vineta Carrie Keck Cleburn. He was a construction superintendent and served in the US Army. Mr. Cleburn was a member of the Novice Baptist Church.
Mr. Cleburn is survived by his mother, Vineta Cleburn; his brother, Mike Cleburn; six children, Gina Kay Cleburn, Joe Cleburn, Trina Cleburn, Lea Nelson, Cindi Clark, and Patrick Cleburn; and seven grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his father.
Pallbearers will be Michael Tankersley, Henry Laxson, Roy Jenkins, James Fells, Wayne Girken, and Joe Cleburn.

Georgia Marie (Benningfield) Dickey

Georgia “Marie” (Benningfield) Dickey entered into eternal rest on July 8, 2008 and joined hands once again with her beloved Nathaniel Taylor Dickey to rest in the arms of Jesus and awaits the homecoming of their children who survive them.
Funeral services are set for 11 a.m. Saturday, July 12, at Fry-Gibbs Chapel with the Rev. Bill Dickey and Rev. Royce Dickey officiating. Burial will follow in Evergreen Cemetery.
The family receives friends from 6:30 to 8:00 p.m. Friday at Fry-Gibbs Funeral Home.
Marie was born October 15, 1923 in Hopewell Community to William Benningfield and Virgie Fisher Benningfield Hicks. She married Nathaniel Taylor Dickey on August 12, 1939. He preceded her in death on March 11, 1996.
Marie was a loving mother and grandmother known to her grandchildren as “Granny Ree”. N.T. and Marie pastored Arthur City Baptist Church for 17 years. She spent her years making costumes, writing Christmas plays and cooking for all occasions. She considered it a pleasure to play hostess and have people gather around the dining room table to fellowship and eat. She fought a long battle with Alzheimer disease but remained a mighty warrior, ministering to others up until the time the Lord called her home. “She Touched My Heart” is a book written by her daughter Debra White in honor of her mother and her fight with Alzheimer’s. She will forever live on and minister through the pages so inspired by her love for her family.
She was preceded in death by her parents, sister Freddie Moore and brothers Jack Benningfield and Dewayne Hicks. She is survived by her children Maurine and Kenneth Ashcraft; Bill and Linda Dickey; Anita Barnes; Debra and Stan White; Royce and Lois Dickey and Cindy and Steve Reese, sister Pauline Stout of Greenville, sixteen grandchildren, seventeen great grandchildren and four great-great grandchildren.

Mr. Ridgeway was born the youngest of nine children to Ben and Violet Dasher Ridgeway on July 15, 1950 in Wabasha, Minnesota. He received his bachelor of science degree from Upper Iowa University and retired from the US Air Force as a master sergeant. Mr. Ridgeway married Glenda Sue Stockton June 6, 1970 in Wabasha.
Mr. Ridgeway is survived by his wife, Glenda Ridgeway and one son, John Alan Ridgeway II.

Bobby was born March 18, 1931, in Denison, Texas, to Ruth O’Neal Weems and Walter Julian Weems. He moved to Mount Pleasant, Texas, in 1937 and spent most of his adult life there. He worked for the oil industry in Talco and Mount Pleasant for 42 years until his retirement from the Conoco-Phillips Oil Company in 1994. He and his wife Olga moved to Paris in 1996 to spend their retirement years close to family members.
Bobby was preceded in death by his parents Ruth and Walter Weems and a brother and sister-in-law Walter Pledger and Ethelyn Weems of Mount Pleasant, Texas.
Survivors include his wife of 49 years Olga Nell Blackburn Weems, a son Ronald Pledger Weems of Frisco, Texas, sister-in-law Rebecca Robinson and her husband Don, nieces Rae Nelle Dockery and her husband Steve, and Raquel Wells, and great-nieces Taylor Dockery and Jordan Dockery all of Paris. Also surviving him are cousins Roy George O’Neal and wife Kay, Janet Johnson and husband Curley, and Peggy O’Neal of the Dallas area.

William Killian, Sr.

William Thomas Killian, Sr. 82 of Paris passed away Saturday July 5, 2008 at Paris Regional Medical Center. Mr. Killian was born on November 16, 1925 in Bonham a son of David and Johnny Stapp Killian.
He was a veteran of World War II serving in the Army Air Corps, an auto mechanic for over 40 years, and was a member of Ramseur Baptist Church. He married Juanita B. Volis on August 21, 1951 in Las Vegas, Nevada. She preceded him in death. He was also preceded in death by a brother and sister.
He is survived by children: William Killian, Jr. and wife Debra of Paris, Phyllis Cox and husband Gary of White Oak, Roberta Fargas of Pico Rivera, California, and Luan Oglesby of Honolula, Hawaii; 6 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren; brothers Wilbur Killian, Marvin Killian, and Earl Killian.
Funeral services will be conducted at 10:00 A.M. Thursday in the Ramseur Baptist Church. Burial will follow in the Meadowbrook Gardens. Family will receive friends from 7:00 P.M. till 8:00 P.M. Wednesday at the Fry-Gibbs Funeral Home.

Ownby (Preacher) Fleming, 93, of Woodland passed away Saturday July 5, 2008 at Parkview Convalescent Center. Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. Monday July 7, 2008 at the Woodland Methodist Church with Rev. Dennis Cates officiating. Burial will follow in Woodland Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the church after the services Monday.
He was born in Woodland, TX January 24, 1915 a son of Marvin and Lorena Ownby Fleming. He married Audrey Louise Baxter in Hugo, Oklahoma January 13, 1940. He was a farmer/rancher in the Woodland community and was the oldest living member of the Woodland Methodist Church.
He was preceded in death by a son, Travis Fleming and a grandson Johnathan Brent Love.
Survivors include his wife of 68 years, Audrey; son Jesse Leon Fleming and wife Darla, of Woodland; daughter, Brenda Sue Love and husband Mack of Mt. Pleasant; daughter-in-law, Brenda Joyce Fleming of Paris; grandchildren, Jesse Fleming, Jr., Craig Fleming, Chad Fleming, Lisa Chapman, Jill Erwin and Jana Love; 8 Great Grandchildren; a sister, Joyce Belfiglio of California.
Pallbearers will be grandsons, Jesse Fleming, Jr., Craig Fleming, Chad Fleming, Chris Chapman, and Jake Erwin. Honorary pallbearers will be Jill Erwin, Jana Love, Lisa Chapman, and Johnathan Brent Love, posthumously.

Pamela Sue Head 56, of Paris passed away Friday July 4, 2008 in Houston.
She was born on March 12, 1952 a daughter of Harold and Betty Riley Taylor. She was a medical secretary at St. Luke’s Episcopal Hospital in Houston, was a member of Our Lady of Victory Catholic Church, and Phi Theta Kappa.
Pam loved gardening, crocheting, and especially spending time with her grandchildren. She married Jimmy Head on June 18, 1971 in Weatherford.
Pam a dedicated wife, mother, and Memaw is survived by her husband Jimmy Head of Paris; daughters Jamie Braxton and husband Anthony Braxton of Paris, Jodie Beshirs and husband Gerald Beshirs, Jr. of Paris; grandchildren Jasmine Johnson, Adrianne and Cailyn Braxton, Cameron, Colton, Sydney and Shelby Beshirs; sisters Paulette Burchinal of Paris, Sherry Taylor of Garland, and Lisa Turner of Rowlett.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 A.M. Tuesday in Our Lady of Victory Catholic Church with Father Morgan White as celebrant. Interment will follow in the Mt. Tabor Cemetery with Jerry Wade, Walter Wade, Jimmy Albertson, Morris Wilson, Larry Moore, Paul Moore and Lee Parson serving as pallbearers. Family will receive friends from 7 till 8:00 P.M. Monday at the Fry-Gibbs Funeral Home. If desired family request memorials be made to the Mt. Tabor Cemetery.
