BILLY E. MARSHALL, 66, of Paris, died at 1:55 PM, Wednesday, February 15, 2012 at his home.  Funeral services are set for 1:00 PM, Monday, February 20, 2012 in the chapel of Fry & Gibbs Funeral Home with Patrick Cannon officiating.  Burial will follow in Evergreen Cemetery.  The family will receive friends from 4:00-5:00 PM, Sunday at the funeral home.  Fry & Gibbs Funeral Home has charge of the arrangements.

Billy was born March 14, 1945 in Paris to Winfred and Vivian Faye Cooley Marshall.  He married Kathy Flippen on February 24, 1968 at the bride’s home in Paris.  He owned and operated Billy Marshall Road Materials prior to his retirement.  Billy served in the Army National Guard and was a member of Lamar Avenue Church of Christ.

Mr. Marshall is survived by his wife, Kathy Marshall; his daughter, Melinda “Mindy” Younger; four brothers, Kenneth Marshall and wife, Marilyn, Charles Marshall and wife, Peggy, Johnnie Marshall and wife, Charlotte, and Jerry Marshall and wife, Diana; and his beloved pets, Mitty, Sniffy, Scarlett, Jack, Doodle, and Chance.  He was preceded in death by his parents; his only sister who he called “little angel”, Nancy Bridgers; and by his pet who was his “heart”, Maxie.

Pallbearers will be Timmy Michael, Jeff Smallwood, Winfred Duncan, Donnie Collard, Joe Edwards, and J.T. Stephens.
