Arthur “Dee” Houston, 82 of Paris, passed away Monday, February 13, 2012 at his home.

Funeral services have been set for Thursday, February 16, 2012 at 2:00 P.M. at Fry-Gibbs Funeral Home with Rev. Mark Sanders officiating.  Interment will follow at Union Grove cemetery in Reno.  The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 7:00 P.M. Wednesday evening at the funeral home.

He married Betty Jean Watson on April 2, 1949 in Paris, Texas.  He worked as a Rancher and attended Living Word Assembly of God.  He loved listening to Gospel, Blue Grass and Country & Western Music.  He was loved and cherished by all of his family and by many, many friends.

He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Betty Jean Houston; children, Billy Houston and wife Vicky, Linda Wilkins and husband Roger, Rhonda Kuykendall and husband Arthur; grandchildren, Gary Houston, Christy Foster, Cody Kuykendall, Tanner Kuykendall, Grace Kuykendall, Angie Yackeschi, Kim Wilkins, Rex Wilkins; numerous great-grandchildren.

Serving as Pallbearers will be Thomas Helms, Jimmy Hall, Larry Slagle, Brad Rogers, Charles Ausmus and Brad King.
