JESSIE E. WATSON, 65, of Paris, died at 3:30 AM, Monday, February 6, 2012 at Brentwood Terrace Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.  A memorial service is set for 1:00 PM, Wednesday, February 8, 2012 at the Highway Full Gospel Church with Rev. David Gillean officiating.  Burial of cremains will be in Springhill Cemetery.  Fry & Gibbs Funeral Home is handling the arrangements.

Jessie was born August 11, 1946 in Naples, Texas to Elbert “Ted” and Thelma Lee England Watson.  He was an automobile mechanic specializing in transmissions.  He married Laura Nelms on April 5, 2008 in Paris.  He was a member of the Tudor Street Gospel Mission.

Mr. Watson is survived by his wife, Laura Watson of Paris; four children, Jessie Elbert “Skeeter” Watson, Jr. and wife, Lisa of Porter, Texas, Glenn Alan Watson and wife, Terrie of Porter, Lauren Michelle Miller and husband, David of Paris, and Kenneth James Green of Paris; nine grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; two brothers, Gary Gene Watson and wife, Mattie of Houston, Marvin Watson and wife, Cynthia of Houston; two sisters, Virginia Thompson of Paris, and Paula Turpin and husband, Ronnie of Paris; and numerous nieces and nephews.  He was preceded in death by his parents; one brother, Edmond Watson; and one sister, Mary Lois Templeton.
