Una JoAnn Ross 77, of Blossom, died at 1:05 PM, Thursday, September 2, 2010 at her home. Funeral services are set for 2:00 PM, Sunday, September 5, 2010 at the First Baptist Church in Blossom with Rev. Mike Shupp officiating. Burial will follow in Knights of Honor Cemetery in Blossom. The family will receive friends from 6:00-7:00 PM Saturday evening at the funeral home. Fry & Gibbs Funeral Home has charge of the arrangements.

Mrs. Ross was born October 5, 1932 in Bonham, Texas to George Leslie and Una Mae Whisenhunt Smith. She worked as a proofreader for an insurance company and was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary of VFW Post 3999 serving as a volunteer at the VA hospital. She married Patrick Ross in 1986. He preceded her in death. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Blossom.

Mrs. Ross is survived by her two children, Earlene Gonzales and husband, Bob of North Richland Hills and Don Garrison and wife, Vickie of Blossom; five grandchildren, Crystal Garrison, Josh Garrison, Nicole Garrison, Katy Garrison and Reanna Young; and eight great-grandchildren, Bud McClour, Christian McCarty, Daylon Black, Aubrey Boettcher, Aidan Garrison, Ashton Neal, Connor Neal, and Ryan Wicks, Jr. She was preceded in death by her parents and her brother, George Leslie Smith, Jr.
